I can not say you won't worry and be concerned because you will. However, when you can show valid proof that he is earning more than required now, based on his recent pay stubs plus a letter from his employer that he is NOT on a temporary job but his position is on a long-term permanent basis, you should be alright! Bring all his previous income and all assets (bank deposits savings and checking accounts, estate, anything) just to show he has more than required or he has cut the required financial obligation to support you.

yea bring all the recent proof that you can like recent pay stubs and highlight amounts showing his pay also get a letter from his employer stating like the other person said, his current income and that his job is steady and he is staying at it and all that. and just keep your fingers crossed that they go by his now income rather than his old income. my fiance's w2s and tax forms are not above poverty line and im worryed about that but he does get payed more then poverty line now so i know the worry that you are feeling right now, just find all the recent job and pay information you can and bring it with you to the interview, when they ask you be really confidant in the way you speak about his job and that he is doing well and has been making the required amount of money recently.

Have him write up a clear statement of his financial situation and have it notarized. I suggest also stating why you won't become a public charge. Then include supporting evidence. Even college transcripts, etc. can be included. Even if co-sponsors aren't accepted, at note from a parent saying "in the event of un-forseen circumstances" I am willing to act as a safety net, but I fully expect that _____will be able to fully support________because...." Does this make any sense?

There is no evidence that Co Sponsors are not accepted at USEM (PI) - this is a very common 'myth' that gets circulated.

They do in fact accept co-sponsors, they do it every day.

Unless there are some peculiarities in your particular case that haven't been discussed here, there should be no reason why a valid co-sponsor would not be accepted.
