I'm about to file I-129F anytime soon. My fiance is from the Philippines but has been working in Dubai, UAE for almost 5 years now. He's current address is in Dubai but I want him to apply the visa in Manila, Philippines. I need to know what he needs to write on the "APPLICANT'S LAST ADDRESS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES OF MORE THAN ONE YEAR". Should he leave it blank or write his current address instead? And also his employment for the last 5 years were in Dubai, does he still needs to write something on "LAST OCCUPATION ABROAD IF NOT SHOWN ABOVE".

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts in advance. :innocent:

Thank you.

Use his current address - do not leave it blank.

In this case it is listed above so you could leave this portion blank.

Thanks for your quick reply. Would there be a conflict if he's living in Dubai but will process visa in the Philippines?

I believe theres a spot at the bottom which asks what the benficiaries consulate is, you can write manilla in there. When it gets to the NVC if theres a problem with that they will let you know.

don't worry about his current address and where you should apply for the visa. there should not be a conflict if you decide that he process/apply for the visa in the philippines. you have this option when you get your NOA2 (to process either in the philippines or at the nearest consulate in/to dubai that processes K1 applications outside of the philippines) if you decide that he process the visa in the philippines, he has to be physically present there.

Thanks for your help on this matter. At least now I don't need to worry that much. Just waiting for the G325-A signed form from my fiance and will be ready to send all the documents for I-129F.

Don't forget to put Manila, Philippines on Question 20 on the I-129F.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
