my friend asked me to post this question.

His wife has already send her AOS and had her biometrics. They are moving to another state because of his job, and they want to know, when her AOS is approved will the green card be forwarded to their new mailing address?

Thanks

First they need to do an AR-11 (alien change of address) and probably an I-865 (Sponsor's change of address) - so USCIS has the correct address in their system.

Most of the time - the post office doesn't forward mail from USCIS (or some other government offices) - it is typically returned as 'undeliverable.' (I've read reports from folks on VJ that have received forwarded mail - but it doesn't always happen.) The AR-11 is the 'for sure' method.

Hi I just received a I-797C to capture my biometrics. What is that means? I already had taking finger printing a while back like in the middle application of I485. Why do they need them again? What happens after the biometrics and what happens during the biometrics appointment. I just receive a DWI will that interfere with my biometrics appointment or after? thank you so much.

What are your status?

Are you applying for Removal of Conditions now?

The theoretical answer is that it should; however, as mentioned before, I have seen posts from others that did the change of address with USCIS, and USCIS still sent stuff to the old address, even though they had the new address on file. Is like playing russian roulette, really.
