Exactly what I'm saying. Nobody's going on the talk show curcuit promoting whispering in your hubby's ear as a way of turning him on because it's not as titilating as the idea of learning how to strip like a pro. I was trying to encourage her to explore her options and most importantly be herself.

I appreciate your comments. Do I find stripping sexy like say in a strip joint? No not really, not at all actually, I kind of find it sleezy. I think if it's done tastefully though in my own home within my own privacy with my husband it could be kinda sexy. I'n like luvaLimey though haha, super klutzy, I trip over everything. I run into everything and so on and such so Like I said in my first post my fear is that I will probably end up looking like a fool than anything else haha. I guess it's worth the effort. And I do agree with you Steve and Jinky that sexy is a mindset not something that someone can tell you what it is because it is different to everyone. I just thought that this might be something that could get a shock value out of him because it's probably the least likely thing he would expect me to do.

Maybe I'm the only one here that has a problem with this - just what is sexy? If you believe that because a lot of guys go to strip joints, then stripping for your husband will then turn him - you're buyin into a gimmick or a fad. Find out both of each others ways of turning each other on - it can be as subtle as whispering in his ear while he's reading or doing something by himself. Sexiness is more a mental game than a physical one. Once you've realized that, you're not limiting yourself to other people's ideas of just what sexiness is.

Maybe Cangirl finds it sexy, maybe she knows her husband would find HER sexy doing it....Sexy is subjective, and if that's her idea of what it is, who are any of us to tell her differently?

Right, and the fact that you 'have a problem' with Cangirl entertaining the notion kinda goes against that theory to let each couple find out for themselves what works for them. Clearly, it doesn't work for you...but as far as Cangirl and her hubby...well that's up to them. And if she's open to TRY something to see if she likes it, then none of us should have a problem with that ;)

and just a question, because I've never really thought about doing it before and I am kind of playing with the thought now, isn't that me kinda keeping my options open? I can't bash it till I try right? If it works it works and if it doesn't move on .... I'm not thinking about it because it's "popular per say" but because it's out there it brought it to my attention that it could be kinda fun.

I don't know why... but that scene from "True Lies" comes to mind with Jamie Lee Curtis doing that dance for Arnold, thinking it was someone else. That scene was hilarious, and sexy at the same time!!!

You don't have to get nekkid for it to be sexy!!! ;)

But also if I'm gonna put in the effort I'd at least like to get his mind on some kind of track. I don't want him thinking about football or something if I'm gonna put myself in such a vulnerable situation for him.

First of all.... Al Bundy is an American HERO!!!!

As far as the OPs question, Steven brings up a good point. It's not the stripping or doing this or that specifically that's going to get your hubby going, it's the "little things" that you do that he likes that are going to get him going. (Although, I'm pretty sure there aren't too many men out there that are going to get mad if their girl takes the time to learn to "professionally" dance for him.)

I think most guys want (or at lest me, so if you wanna argue here, go ahead... I'm just stating my oppinion and it seems most guys agree with me based on what the societal norms are)
