Re: Timeline of relationship with my fiancee,(Beneficiary),(DOB: MM/DD/YYYY)

Case # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I,(Petitioner), a citizen of the U.S. am the fiance of(Beneficiary). The following is a sworn affidacit documenting the timeline of our relationship.

during( MM/DD/YYYY) to present.

After trying several other dating websites(E-harmony, Match.com, Yahoo Personals, ect.) I joined VietnamCupid, a dating website on 7-Oct.-2009.

on 18-Oct.-2009, I received a message from(Beneficiary). I was amazed that this beautiful woman would have an interest in me. We started

communicating on Yahoo Messenger and webcam. We talked for hours getting to know each other's personality. I found we had a lot in common,

as marital status, interests, and goals. It was during this time we thought we may have a future together. As our relationship grew, she and I both realized

that we had found in each other what we had been seeking for a very long time. We both looked forward to meeting in person, to find out if this relationship

was really our dreams come true.

Upon finally meeting, the chemistry between us was felt immediately. It was as if we had been together for a long time. We were instantly freinds, the comfort

level was more than either of us expected. Our time together was intense, our love for each other, deep and profound. We laughed together, we cried together.

The pain of our being separated weighed heavily on our hearts. We will endure, as our love is strong. We will be friends and lovers for the rest of our lives as

husband and wife. We will make it so, no matter what obstacles are put in our path.

18-Oct-2009 Start communicating on VietnamCupid

I have finally found the woman I have looked for all my life. She is everything to me. I love her with all my being and wish to spend the rest

of my life with her. Even though we are thousands of miles apart, we are together in heart and mind. It is uncanny that she often knows what I am going to say before I say it. Her ability to communicate in English is more than adequate. In her I have found the qualities I have missed in the past. She is kind, quiet, responsible, trustworthy, playful, sincere, passionate, and most of all loving.

I believe in marriage the most important things are trust, to love and be loved in return. I have definetly found this with (Beneficiary)

(Beneficiary) and I remain in contact while we are apart from each other. I am legally free to and willing to marry(Beneficiary) within 90 days of her arrival.

We intend to marry and look forward to starting our lives togethr as man and wife when she arrives in the U.S.

congrats pwolocen .... could you tell me what is in packet 3 & 4 ? We have been waiting for interview date since Sept 03 ,2010

Thanks for the congrats. Packet 3 & 4 contain forms and instructions for what you must do. Read everything very carefully and you should not have a problem! Packet 4 does have your interview appointment letter in it. Check my signature above and you will see that we waited almost 3 months between P3 & P4.

You can find what exactly is in those packets on this site or the one from the consulate. It is good to look at them ahead of time to get an idea of what you must do.Also more time to prepare. I hope this helps you.

Let me just edit one more info. Once you submited Packet 3 to the Consulate. According to Scott's reminder, you might need to call Department of State to see if they have scheduled an appointment for you @ 202-663-1225 when the message starts.. press 1, when the next message starts, press 0.. you may wait 5 to 15 minutes for a CSR..

Sorry, but I don't know about calling the DOS. My fiancee went to the consulate once a week to ask about appointment date! All she was ever told was to wait for notification in the mail. It finally arrived, but took a long time after Packet 3. You might want to ask Scott about calling.

Sometimes pkt 4 gets lost in the mail.. its best practices to start calling DoS a month or so after you sent pkt 3 and asking the status so you know as early as possible the interview date. imagine they sent pkt 4 and you didnt get it.. and the interview had passed... the timeframe from pkt 3 to the interview changes from one time of the year to another... it all depends on the workload and how much time they are dedicating to individual cases...

Sometimes people give them a call shortly after NVC has finished with the case to see if the consulate ahs the hard copy yet and again to see if pkt 3 has been sent out.. as soon as the consulate sends pkt 3, the beneficiary can fax them or send them the pkt 3 response and one does not have to wait to get the pkt 3 hard copy in hand.. one does have to wait for them to send out pkt 3 before sending the response docs...

From what i've been reading here and the NVC forum. the IR1 and F1 visa are handled differently at The NVC. The I129F is sent to the consulate and the consulate sends out packet 3. . . packet 4 contains the interview date ? ... But with the IR1 the NVC keeps the I130 and sets the interview date with the consulate. am I reading that correct ?

In a way it looks like the I129F gets priority over the I130 ?

fiance visas are set at the consulate after NVC.. marriage visas are set at NVC stage before sent to the consulate...
