For MikesAibeen, I wonder if you are the Aibeen from CDO, Philippines. I wonder how you are doing. I'd like to believe that as unique as the name Aibeen is, I am 95% sure that it's you. The last time I heard from you, you're based in Missouri. Anyway, the last time you posted here was in 2008, posting your Naturalization Interview experience, so I doubt if you are still active in this forum, but if you are, please respond to this message.

On the other hand, I wanna ask the members here who took the new naturalization test and had their interview recently in the district office of Georgia of your experience. I am wondering how their system works, like if they do the oath-taking ceremony the same day you pass the interview. I heard from a friend that they give it at the end of the day for those passers instead of scheduling you for another date to come back. Doing it the same day would be so much great, especially for those living outside Georgia.

I am excited to hear from you guys. By the way, I am a new member of this forum and it's nice to be a part of this group.

Hi David, thanks for viewing my post. Yes, CDO stands for Cagayan de Oro City, my hometown. It's in the northern part of Mindanao.

Guests, viewers, and members, I am specifically interested in interviews done in the district office of Georgia. Hopefully you guys can share with me here how it went. By the way, I am based in Alabama. I have read different versions as to the number of times they went for an interview...some said once and some twice, which is right?

Be glad to hear from you.

Regarding interviews and oaths in Atlanta - if your interview is in the morning you may be scheduled for an oath in the afternoon. Oath takers are to assemble at 1 pm for a 2 pm oath ceremony. If your interview is in the afternoon, however, you won't do a same day oath ceremony. I don't know what the 'cut-off' time is, however. I have no idea if I will be able to do the same day ceremony or not - my interview is at 1:05. I suspect I will have a different day for the oath.
