From what I understand, SMS picks up the passport from the embassy the morning of the day the visa is printed and then later around 4-5 pm on the same day texts (if you provided a mobile #) the recipient that the visa will be delivered the next day. And tracking can be done on www.thedx.co.uk. My question is regarding the tracking.

How soon can one begin tracking the visa from SMS on the website (using the 10 digit tracking # provided by the courier service)? Once SMS picks up the passport from the embassy the day the visa is printed? Or from the moment that SMS texts the recipient that the visa will be delivered?

In other words, how soon is the info available on the SMS website for online tracking?

The tracking number never worked for me, I had to call them and ask, but they were very good and texted, even changed the delivery address at the last minute and found me at work in a huge hospital  Mind you, you do pay for it though!

I wouldn't hold my breath just yet  because the visa has not been issued yet. Don't know the reason for the delay, but as soon as my fiance receives the good news, you all will be among the first to hear of it, for sure!
