Democrats don't pay taxes

12 members have voted

  1. 1. How come Democrats don't pay taxes?

    • Because they're all nanny-state teat-sucking unemployed/underemployed losers.
      1
    • Because they cheat the system. ACORN helps.
      3
    • Because there's a huge tax credit for being an America-hating socialist.
      1
    • With the Republicans paying all the taxes, they don't need to.
      0
    • They can't afford to, since they spend all their income on paying for abortions and investing in retarded carbon credit schemes.
      2
    • Because Democrats believe in small government and low taxes and personal freedom.

I just found out that since I will be married filing jointly next year and Nik will not be able to work probably until 2010 that I have more than paid all taxes for this year already in my single withholding scheme, so, if I understand the IRS withholding calculator correctly, I will not be paying taxes for the rest of the year. Yep. It's a good windfall. Plus, a double exemption, and double the standard deduction is nice as well, for the following years. You got to report wordwide income, but you get a hefty exemption for that as well.
