I have to ask ... is there really NO ONE that can speak on my questions I asked the other day??? Really?? You guys respond to EVERYTHING on here and I ask a couple questions and it's almost like my post isn't even posted. Yet, I see that it's been read quite a few times. Hmmmmmm?!

I thought this was a place to seek help ... can anyone help with my questions?

How much is the fee that has to be paid for the I864 and is it for the Affidavit of Support or for Biometrics or what?

Will I get the opportunity to give my husbands mailing address BEFORE they try to mail him anything? On the application it only said "physical address" they did not have a specific place for "if mailing address is different". I am a little worried about it and want to make sure that we have it all correct before they try to send him something.

If ANYONE can help or offer some assistance or advice regarding this I would truly appreciate it.

Thank you.

I-864 is for Affidavit of Support and its is $70.00.

If there was no option for a different mailing address, they will use the physical address.

After your petition is approved,ur husband has to appoint an agent by DS-3023 and he can either appoint you, himself or any body else and NVC will use that address you mentioned.

These days though if you have ur email address on record with NVC .they will give mail to links to download instructions and form.No more hard paper.

I-864 is a fee of $70 that you the sponsor has to pay for to the NVC for the verification of your affidavit which also include your tax paper from IRS or any designated government agency in your local that is charge with the responsibility of issueing such documents.

As for the mailing or physical address before the NVC ask you for a choice of agent with the filling of form DS-3023 you can call USCIS up on 800-375-5283 and enquire about it and you can as well fill a form AR-11 which is for changing of address of the petitioner and not sure if the beneficiary also can use such a form to change there address or to make rectification of their addresses.

K&O
