Hello Vjer's. I have my biometric tomorrow and I'm just wondering if anybody here have schedule for biometrics July 6-10 who didnt get any letter that their biometrics is cancelled? I read alot of people on same date their biometrics is cancelled. In my situation I didnt get any letter that its cancelled. I'm very confused because my friend told me that all the biometrics on July 6-10 was cancelled.Since that I didnt get any letter,I still need to go right? any input will appreciate. Thank you.

Application Support Center Appointment Rescheduling - July 6 - 10, 2009

System errors caused a number of Application Support Centers to be overscheduled during the week of July 6-10, 2009. As a result, some applicants may receive cancellation notices for appointments originally scheduled during this timeframe.

If you do not receive a cancellation notice, please appear at your ASC appointment as scheduled. If you do receive a cancellation notice, you will soon receive an ASC appointment notice for a new date and time, typically for an appointment within the next two to four weeks.

I highly advice you to go. If you don't do biometric then your application is considered abandoned and then you might be put in deportation proceedings. So if even you didn't get the cancellation letter. Go and ask the officer. If in the system is says that you should come on around date. Ask them to stamp your biometric appointment letter and give you a print out if possible.

If they say you are fine and should do biometric today, please do it. Have your appointment letter stamped and signed by the security person. Make sure you hands are clean and they take biometrics properly.

My biometric was scheduled for July 9th, then it was cancelled and rescheduled to July 21st. If you haven't received the cancellation letter I would go to the appointment.
