Got my Pkt4 - Feb 9th at 11am

1 week before my POE phew! (as long as I get it!)

Wow that's 4 weeks you have to wait for your interview....they must have a lot at the moment. My interview was two weeks after P4. At least you will get your visa in time for your scheduled departure.

I need to start doing that too! Less than three weeks til I fly out, and somehow I have accumulated a lot of ####### in the past six months! Time for me to visit the Salvo's too!

It's coming around quick isn't it? I'm going in two weeks and then your turn a couple of days later :)

I think my sister is happy about getting to wear the clothes and shoes I won't be able to fit in my suitcases whenever she wants. Yesterday the sole started to come off her jogging sneakers and she said she wasn't going to get a new pair, she'd just wear my nikes that I'm leaving behind. Lol.

I was surprised at the amount of waiting too! I wonder if they've got a backlog because they took time off over Christmas and New Years?

Also the "only Tuesday" idea means that we miss one week thanks to Australia Day.

That date does mean that my fiancee will be here for my interview day that's kind of cool.

Neil will be sending in his P3 this week......looks like his interview would be about the 23rd Feb then!!!

We did file for an extension which was granted and I'm glad we did.....even knowing that they'd have probably extended the NOA2 anyway. :)

Good luck for those with interviews tomorrow (hmmmm, ok, today! LOL)

We're going for a simple ceremony here too.......nothing fancy....maybe just go to the courthouse and have one of the judges do the vows. :)

Hey guys, I've a question about travel insurance....what company do you use? I like to compare prices and make sure I'm getting a good deal :)

I'll need it for maybe a couple of months until I can be put on my husbands medical insurance once we are married.

Congrats to both of you! Thats awesome!

Talking about weddings, Im in the middle of planning ours. We are having ours here in Washington state, cause really there aren't very many places that is as pretty as it is here, even with all the rain we get lol. We are getting married out on the coast about 30 miles south of Forks. Will be only our family here, his mom and dad and brother are flying over, and my parents are coming up from Tennessee. Only two friends are invited and my three kids will be there ofcourse. I booked this beautiful cabin for us and our family to stay in the night before, sleeps 12 and has a view of the sol duc river. For any Twilight fans its suppose to be right down from the Cullens house lol. We will have a family dinner the night before at the cabin, then get ready and all drive down to Ruby beach the next afternoon to have the ceremony. I have the most gorgeous dress that i got from a wedding boutique here in Seattle http://www.cicadabridal.com/ its a one of a kind so im super excited to wear it. After that we will drive down to Port Gamble and have a formal reception at a tea room there, http://www.tearoomatportgamble.com/. Then we told everyone that we are leaving right after. Already put my foot down, lol. My kids are going to their dads house for three days and we are staying here for our honeymoon, http://www.lochaerie.com/christie.html, booked this little cabin for us for three nights. Its right in the heart of the rainforest here in washington so will be absolutely perfect for me and Damo. I still have little things to buy, and still need to book our officiant for the ceremony but the other big stuff is done.

Im a wedding photographer so there is no way I'm paying for one of those, lol. My soon to be mother in law is a wonderful photographer and hates standing around so she offered to do the pictures for us using my equipment, when I was over in December she had a blast using my camera she is so excited about doing it. I can edit and such after I get back and just print them all myself, so she is a life saver. I cant wait, our wedding will be on May 1st, so we will be catching all the new flowers blooming. Yay!
