Is there is a way to find out when AOS bill was cashed? Will automated response system will be updated? Or maybe I need to talk to live operator at NVC?

Another question: how soon usually comes response if Choice of Agent was accepted after e-mail was sent to NVC?

Thank you.

hi there fellow:). I am in the same both. You need to talk to a life person in order to check on the AOS fee bill, and usually the next monday they generate the Affidavit of support (you need to check back with an operator as well)--just if you use the shortcuts, though. And as far as the email response of the NVC goes....most people receive answers within 2 up to 7 days.

Godd luck for your further journey

The automated response would be updated, but not right away. The best way to find this one out is to call and talk with a LIVE operator once a day. We emailed our choice of agent on June 27, 06 and today when I called NVC and spoke with a live operatior, I was told that the choice of agent mail was accepted and now I am the official choice of agent. I know, many people got their choice of agent responses back in about 2 days, but for me, it took a while. I was little down, but it is ok.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Thank you for a quick responce. Our Choice of Agent was accepted last Friday. I call today on Monday, talked to live operator. He told me that AOS fee bill wasn't cashed yet. (about 5 days past)

So at this point I only need to sit and wait for IV bill? Or just call withing few days to find out if AOS bill was cashed and later if I-864 was generated? Then I could use Jame's shortcut to send I-864 in advance?

Thanks.

1. Yes, you need to wait for the IV Bill. This track is: Choice of agent ----> IV Bill ----> DS 230

2. Keep checking with NVC about your AOS fee bill and find out when your I-864 is generated. Don't send the I-864 before it is generated. This track is: AOS Fee Bill ----> I-864

Please note that these two tracks are independent of each other in the process. Finally, they will merge at the end. NVC will review everything and complete the case, if everything is properly submitted. NVC will forward your case to the Embassy, once the case is complete.
