I am now naturalized citizen here in the u.s and I have question regarding my nso birthcertificate, the detail are my parents never married but they put on my birthcertificate that they were married and it has a date and place of their marriage on it.

my question are: is this going to be trouble for me here in america.are they going to revoke me for this issue about my birthcertificate? I never intend to lie but I never notice this until I am about to petition to my parents.and now Im screwed.

would I still be able to correct my birthcertificate? do I need to go back to the philippines? or can someone do it for me like my parents?

and what will be the chance for my case in the philippines?

my parents still together since the day I was born and now that Im here.

and I want to petition them but this I got issue on my birthcertificate,It was already registered and thats what I use to come here..

so do I still have a chance to petition them? and can I still correct my birthcertificate?

I hope you can help me for my problem..thank you so much and may God bless you

If you are planning to petition for both of your parents then you'll also need to present the marriage certificate for them, so it would appear that the birth certificate is not your only problem. If you have the birth certificate changed then that makes you an illegitimate child of your mothers, and greatly complicates getting an immigrant visa for your father. On the other hand, since your parents have lived together as a married couple for more than five years they would be qualified for a "common law" marriage certificate in the Philippines.

Most of your problems seem to involve getting documents or document corrections from the government of the Philippines. You should probably post your questions in the Philippines regional forum here.
