:secret: 5 ft at 200 lbs does not a skinny person make thus no SPA. However if the ticket isn't 2/3 more to have exclusive right to discriminate against obese people by saying your providing a service and in fact it's 2/3 less it may give people more incentive to lose weight.

Hell yeah, were do I sign up. I should be rewarded for being such a skinny stud.

The scale challenged people would be up in arms though.

I am scale challenged and I would welcome this.

You are a big man to step aside and give this a honest look, I appreciate it.

Is that your weight in the avatar?

What would happen if all the airlines competed for the skinny people though? Would the fatties get a chance to fly at all? Would there be a 'fat people only' comfort airline, expensive but with huge chairs and gourmet meals?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

And would it stop at the airlines? Or would there soon be Skinny People Buses & Train Service? Skinny People Cars Only, on Amtrak & NJ Transit.

Skinny people,

If you had the option of flying on an airline where tickets cost two-thirds that of other airlines, with the caveat that tickets would only be sold to people with BMI's of 25 and below, would you do it?

Yep.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

They could just limit by weight.

limiting by bmi makes more sense.

I guess one could argue that limiting by BMI would not be unconstitutional, because the BMI is not

something you're born with (unlike, say, your race or height.) There are precedents for this kind of

discrimination - for example, insurance companies denying coverage to morbidly obese people.

Being fat is unhealthy.

We already exclude smokers (another unhealthy subgroup) from many places, there's no reason we can't kick people out for overindulging in Twinkies.
