Singer Michael Jackson dead at 50

I had two older brothers who had the Michael Jackson jacket and tried to perfect their moon walk but I being 30 have no real attachment to him. I'm not really affected by this. I mostly saw the scandals of the man on television growing up and weird Al Yankovitch making fun of him in videos. I liked some of MJ's music but I was 4 years old when Thriller came out. I was too young and missed the peak that my brothers who were 5 years older than me got to witness.

I'm 28, but for some reason MJ was always a part of my life. Possibly because my mom was a young mom, and she always listened to his music when I was a kid. I remember dancing around in the kitchen to Billie Jean with her when she was doing the dishes, I couldn't have been more than five or six. I also had a somewhat sick affection for the song "Black or White" when I was 11.
