I got questions for you about calling NVC. It's been like 16 days after we got NOA2. We haven't heard from NVC yet..make me sick now...anyway, here you go!

1. I dont really know where to call them, what no.? I tried to look at the NVC page..I didn't find anything.

2. What kind of information that I have to tell the operator? Reciept no. from USCIS?

Hello Natt141,

You can call NVC @ (603) 334-0700, you need ur USCIS number. when you call NVC to speak with an officer option 5, or AVR system 1,1 and 1 if CSC then press 4.

Yeah what IT said.

I got my number from the automated phone line.

I didn't get the operator to tell me, but when I have spoken to the operators, they tell you what information they need.... Just call them.

Wow, they finally fixed the bug on the USCIS website, FIRST TIME since June (when we got our case number) that we can check our status online !

Seems our case has been touched on the 18th, still no NOA2 in the mailbox though. I still kinda dont understand why they dont treat cases in order, it's cool some ppl have their case completed fast but so heartbreaking to see ppl filing after u getting their NOA2 when u still have no news on ur own case.

Hope to get ours soon and that process gets smooth for all.

Hey Guys,

I just checked USCIS site and now they have new site and page. Login to check your case on USCIS. I think will give you bit more information. now thru tab you can see where your case is standing....

My question is, where are we going to enter the other beneficiary:

For an instance:

Filling up I-864 form for mother:

Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

21 Your household size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10 --> 1

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself --> 1

c. If you are currently married, enter 1

d. If you have dependent children, enter the number here.

e. If you have any other dependents, enter the number here.

f. If you have sponsored any other persons on an I-864 or I-864 EZwho are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here.

g. OPTIONAL: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children withthe same principal residence who are combining their incomewith yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here.

IF you are filling this form for your mother, where will add your father on this household?

He might fall on letter f but the phrase "EZwho are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here." confuses me.

Please advise.
