Happy to see so many approvals.

But also very disappointed with USCIS. My NOA1 receipt date is of June 1st and hasn't been approved yet.

People with later dates than that have started getting their approvals then why not my case. Probably because my case is from Pakistan. They say they are very fair in judging and approving petitions but obviously they are not. I know they won't approve my petition until the end of October or something. I am tired of living by myself, I wish they would understand how hard it is for us.

Anyway congrats everyone!

Malka,

I know waiting is not a good thing, but just kepp your hope alive and be positive. I am sure you will get your NOA 2. Goodluck

The process seems entirely random to me--I think that's what so frustrating about it to many of us. We're told that applications are processed in the order in which they're received, but this site is clear proof that they are not. And there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it--some Western European and Canadian applications (whom I think those of us with Middle-Eastern/South Asian/African beneficiaries think would get preferential treatment) get approved in 2 months, others take much, much longer. And there's never any communication as to why, so we're all just left scratching our heads as some of us get approved in record time, and others take much longer.

Try not to let it get you too down. After 5 months you can start applying some pressure; until then, just hope it comes sooner. The vast majority of CSC apps are being processed in 3.5 months, so us June filers should see some real action come Oct.

i agree! hoping for a positive outcome for us all. it must be frustrating though living in a country where you think it may go slower.

hopefully they like us Aussies and i get through soon enough hehe.

i am going to be wrapped if i hear anything before October... GO TEAM JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have reached the conclusion that i will not let the slowness get me down. heck, been in the official process of trying to get the husband here since april 2008, so if i have to go the full 5 months before i can contact uscis to get a move on, then i am ok with it. it just means that his interview will be next year which will give me pto time to be there with him. if it gets approved before november 30, which is our 5 month mark, then it will be a blessing. good luck to the june filers. we will be together soon  know that if you have all of your necessary docs in order for NVC, it will breeze by

Amen to that. As for the timing, it really does not seem to have much of a rhyme or reason far as order goes but Igor's list does appear to indicate that they get done in roughly an average amount of time.

Thanks for all of the well wishes! Still more fun to come, however.

I have a Canadian application pending for almost 2 months now, no touches and I hope its true what they say about faster approvals for us. However, I tend to be one of those people who gets hit by every Murphy's Law so with my luck, it will take years! LOL. This process is driving me crazy- if I at least get some touches I'd feel better but the fact that its been sitting around with no touches makes me nervous!

Ah well! Ok, but here's to hoping it comes in sooner rather than later!

Congrats to everyone who has gotten NOA2!!! Now we just need the rest of 'em.

Malrothien, I LOVE your signature line. Now I think Im gonna have to go out to Timmys tonight. LOL.
