How long does the NVC takes to review your files and forward it to the emabassy? My case is at the NVC I really wanted to get my interview in July but it seems as if its gonna be in August or Sept i am running out of patience

As you had an RFE on your AOS package and you had to reply back, the earliest they got your new package was on the 15th. I'm not sure when you sent in DS-230 package but usually the average wait time according to statistics is 25 days to case complete. To what I see on my Lucky Feb Filers Fellows's timelines, it usually takes about 7-10 days. With no more RFE's your case should be complete any day soon. Good luck, and more patience :thumbs: we all here must have it just a little bit more :)

2009-07-21 : Interview expedite request e-mailed to NVC

2009-07-27 : NVC replied NO to expedite request

my ds230 package was sent from last month everything was ok with that but they keep sending us checklist for our AOS saying we have incomplete or missing info however my husband corrected it and sent it by FEDEX last week monday when we call them they said its in the building but have not reviewed it yet. we have been doing this almost a year now and we are frastrated especially my husband since he is in the military and his job is stressing it would help if i was there to comfort him

You didnt mention wether or not you paid all the appropriate fees, sent in the ds230 and supporting docs?

Munchy, there is an interview tracking sheet that is JA specific in the regional forum, and lots of advice from others - The Jamaican embassy does things a little differently.

I am confused though - are you filing for the IR1 or AOS?

no its a CR1 we were sent a checklist for the I864 saying we have information missing we responded last week monday but we are just waiting for them to review it and enter it in the system so they can schedule my interview for me to get my visa
