The VSC dilemma ... delays

Hello folks,

Being a regular reader/contributor on this forum, i just noticed that VSC is back to it's slow speed again and CSC is back to it's fast approval. Don't understand why VSC didn't keep approvals we saw of Jan 2009 and beyond in the beginning of this month.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Seems Vermont has always been tangling behind. I wonder why, do they not have enough workers. Seems they would be able to distribute the petitions evenly between service centers. Everyone at Vermont has the short end of the stick in terms of waiting.

Wondering the same thing. We started to see the Jan 2009 approvals coming through and we got hopeful, given we filed early January, but we have seen nothing yet!

It could be simply that in a huge amount of cases actually being worked on there are no advancement in VJ's cases, but maybe VSC is still speeding through petitions and soon we'll see more VJers getting theirs approved. VJ is just a sample of all petitions at these service centers so sometimes it might be coincidence that several get approved in a row and then none for a while.

At the same time it could also mean that they had a "task force" over there for a few days but now is back through the older cases or at their turtle pace. Who knows what goes on in those service centers.

 Does that mean they have dumped the cases of those waiting for over a year in the trash?

Yeah, after a friend informed I checked th USCIS website. Looks like now VSC processing time for I-751 which I guess filers in 2008 wished they could see. But still i do hope "Laura" is right and they rolled batch approvals soon.

The main trouble for me sudden speed up of approval which got me thinking positively about VSC but they soon went back to their old routine, I guess. I wish they had kept the same pace.

Wish all of us best of luck .
