How accurate is the ucis status online?

I'm in the same boat, as well as many others. The site will not be reliable for you. Many people have already gone through the process and the website still says "received and pending". Hang in there, it will come one day. You will most likely only know when it arrives via postal service.

Not at all accurate.

Some people have completed the process but according to USCIS website, they haven't even been approved for the first step. For others, it works as it's supposed to. Long after my petition was approved and NOA2 was received it still said "received and pending" for me. BUT, that meant that NOA2 was a really nice surprise in the mailbox one day!! :D

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

Wondering if people have received the NOA2 by mail while the online site states "Received and Pending". I have been waiting 4 months with no response regarding NOA2. Very frustrated with the Vermont Service Center!

My wife has had her green card for 6 months and ours is still "received and pending" LOL

It is not at all reliable

hello everybody...I got married to an american guy last october but unfortunatelly our relationship didn't work out and I signed the divorce last month. I had my change of status interview last february in San Francisco.The man said everything was fine but I have never heard about them anymore. I called the USCIS and they said the process can take a year. My question is can I still get my greencard even if I'm already divorced?Is it normal the process take so long?Thank you for your help...I have been worried and stressed because of this.

the timelines list a slower pace than reality. its a general guide. The paper work in the mail is the real deal!!

august 2004 I-129 filed (neb)

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.
