I guess I'm a d1ck when someone demand things. I would've let her have the bench, but, before I had the chance she basically demanded it like she owned it. Letting her have the seat is a courtesy, not the law. She showed no courtesy to me. So, I shouldn't give it to her.

It reminded me of an old woman at the bus stop who demanded I gave her the seat that I had to her. She said, "Get off of there boy, ever heard of giving an old lady a seat."

I was like, "what the hell lady! giving you the seat? you're not even my grandmother!"

She shut up for awhile. Afterwards she would say, "kids nowadays they are useless...can't do anything...rude, obnoxious..."

I shut up. Then she continued ramping on....Then I asked her, "are you okay, you look like you're going suffocate....you need to shut it once in awhile, okay..."

Gave me the stare that she wanted to wrestle with me. Ridiculous how these old people think sometimes. I would've given her the seat if she asked nicely rather than demanding it like a child.

You should sort of do that without even having to be asked? I don't know how your bus system works, but the city I used to live in, in Canada was run sheer by bus transportation and that is sort of an unwritten rule. You see someone elderly getting on the bus, you get up and walk to the back. There is no waiting period. You whole story kinda made you seem like a #######, no offense.

Yes that was a #### move, but so was that old lady.....

Back on topic, I hope the old lady was charged with resisting arrest and battery on an officer. It's clear as day that she committed both

When I used to get the train to the city - I actually saw a guy with one leg get on with crutches. Noone gave up their seat for him - and he didn't ask.

People are a$$holes on public transport out here.

she shouldn't have had to ask - you should have offered. why do you hate old people?

True, but since he didn't offer, it was wrong for her to demand it.

I didn't even know someone wanted a seat. Maybe I rode everyday and kinda took it for granted. If they're not close to me, I wouldn't have notice them. Digging my nose inside the newspaper waiting for the bus has its affect of ignoring everyone around you.
