Hey Guys,

Usually I just read the post’s, but right now wanted to update you about my AOS interview.

It was scheduled for 9:30 am, they called us at 9:45, and we were out at 10:00am.

When we left the building, we both could not say anything. It was nothing bad, nothing extraordinary, just nothing. I don’t know what we’ve expected…

The officer was middle aged male; he was like “dry fish”. Asked simple questions:

  1. Where and how did we meat?
  2. Did I propose to my husband?
  3. Do we work on Sundays?
  4. What are we doing on Sundays? Do we speak? Who speaks more?
  5. Did my husband asked my father about marring me?
  6. What do I like about my husband besides being a good man? (and the same question to my husband about me)
  7. Who takes care of the bills?
  8. Who manages the budget?
  9. Do we still hold our jobs?

He asked for some bank statements/utility bills bla bla… (Not that he insisted to get them. I just gave him everything I’ve had).

He did not ask for any photos, not the names of family members, anything like this…

Then he said we should receive a letter within few weeks. And good luck in finding a new house (this was our answer for “What are we doing on Sundays?”

Hope It helps,

Best

If you answered all the questions without hesitation and the IO seemed satisfied with you said (which I think is how it went), then you`re all good! Congratulations!!!!

We answered without ANY hesitations, since we have nothing to hide or lie or whatsoever...

I just wanted to share the questions and general feeling.

As i told, the IO was like "a dry fish" he was said "ok" "ok" "ok".

I know we should not expect any emotions from him and he is NOT allowed to tell if we were APPROVED. I hope, if there were some problems, he would tell us right there.

We were told at interview that we were approved. Many people are told this.
