Hey guys!

Well today we get married yey!

We got our marriage license yesterday- but I am freaking out a bit. On the form it said to put where you area resident of and address etc. So I put here in Vegas, as I am physically living here, rather than england. So on the certificates it says 'laura *****' resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. I asked the woman if that is right- because I mean legally I am still a resident of the UK right? or no? Well I dont know. She said that its fine as it was.

But I wanted to check that it not going to pose any problems when the USCIS sees the certificate and stuff?

Probably should have put the UK, but I would simply write an explanatory letter to accompany it when sending in a copy. I've written several of those and gone without an RFE.

Congrats!!!

Lots of people get married in Vegas, and I'm sure they've put Vegas down without actually living there. Did you guys have the "singing Elvis" perform the ceremony?

Yeah I think ill put a note in with it to be on the safe side!

No were not having a singing elvis :lol: - Its a shame they dont have a whole bunch of options of impersonators- like Jim Morrison or David Gilmore or Morrissey- now I WOULD have had one of them!
