Congrats Poisontee and gopalagl on your interview letters! It's really exciting to see that kind of movement so quickly.

After stressing out on Friday, today we are in receipt of the biometrics letter. Can someone please update us on the list as follows: NOA 7/6/09 Biometrics: 7/24/09

Thanks so much- after 4 years I'm still hesitant to touch the lists and mess them up! :innocent: Thanks.

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date

I have not received the Finger Print Notice yet. Should I be worried and follow up and call them? I received the NOA 1 back on June 29th. Please advise. (Newark, NJ)

I think you should call them, and try to get to a second line officer, not the CSR robots... Seems like the other Newark filers have got their bio notices, but perhaps the ASC that you are zoned to is different? Might want to PM some of the other Newark filers, and compare ASC locations... I believe CColdwell and Roosh were at the Elizabeth ASC for example... is this the same one for you?

Why did you send your application to Vermont Service Center? I thought all the Newark filers (or NJ residents) are supposed to send them to Texas Service Center.

That could be the reason why yours is being delayed. You should give them a call and ask if they received it OK, and if not send it again and this time to the right service center.

My apologies...I did not notice you already received your NOA acknowledging the receipt of your application. But yeah you should still give them a call to see what is going on with your application. The latest person who is supposed to go to Elizabeth ASC on our thread seems to have received the biometrics date on 7/25 and that person has submitted the application after you. So that tells you that Elizabeth ASC being busy is not the reason why you haven't received your biometrics invitation.

Hey guys,

Done with my FP today. It was a walk-in. I tried to do it last Saturday but they were too busy. So I went in today and got it. All of the prints were between 60%-74%. Don't know how good that is but hopefully I don't have to go for it again.

It seems like Elizabeth ASC is one of the busier ASCs. They churn about 60 people per hour, just the N-400 applicants. I was impressed with their speed.

Looking at the number of people present at the ASC, I am almost certain that the Newark applicants will get the interview dates a bit farther out as compared to other centers.

I had my travel itenary printed, but they did not ask for it.

My prints were also in that range! I was so worried that they wouldn't be ok, but the person seemed satisfied. I guess I'll be crossing my fingers until a few weeks go by. Then I'm going to call and get 2nd level assistance and find out if I'm in the interview queue haha.

I'm glad that the walk-in worked out for you though! I got the same impression at Elizabeth, I feel like we're definitely going to be a few of the lingering people in June.

Oh yeah. The guy was kind of not so much into what he was doing. I can understand that it could really happen to anyone who is taking people's fingerprints all day long. However, he didn't seem dissatisfied. Also, the red stamp they put on your FP NOA letter, has fields called "QA review" (QA - Quality Assurance, for those who don't know), so I think if the person signs that without making any comments, then they are primarily satisfied.

CColdwell, Please keep us posted on your experience if you decide to call the customer service to see whether you are in queue for interview or not.

Can this get any more ridiculous? When all the hoopla happened last week as far as whether or not my husband's application was acceptable, we contacted our congressman's office just to get it all straightened out. In the meantime, we did receive the NOA1 as you all know, and yesterday we received the biometrics letter with an appt for next Friday. Anyway, today my husband receives a call from the congressman's office stating that they have spoken to our local field office, and although they can accept my husband's application and process it, he can not go for his interview until he meets the residency requirement, which is September 26, 2009. I have never seen anyone else post about this. I was all over the USCIS website and never saw it posted there anywhere. Maybe it will take 90 days to process anyway, but I have never heard that they won't give an interview til that date is reached. Anyone else ever hear about this? How many June filers are filing with the marriage residency 90 days prior to your green card date? This is just so typical and ridiculous I'm ready to go crazy!!
