The 401 is one of the craziest places to drive on because people in the fast lane are at least going 150 clicks if they can. I used to be that person but New Jersey is too full of traffic to go that fast (plus there are cops EVERYWHERE)

Florida, I have heard, isn't really that bad of a state to drive in. The tri-state area as well as Houston, Dallas and LA are notoriously the worst in the US.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

If you survive driving in Boston then you can drive anywhere in the world... Oh and you will be SUPER ACE at Mario Kart on the Wii :rofl:

So true! To this day I think that Boston is the WORST place to drive.

L.A. traffic is really bad, but Boston is far worse.

Interesting. Wonder how Boston matches up with the traffic around here.

Florida's got all the seniles seniors who don't look where they're going and drive 50 in the passing lane of a 70mph highway, right beside all the other seniles seniors who are driving the same speed in the other two lanes. I had one old guy cut me off by turning left in front of me from the right-hand turning lane (I was in the left-hand turning lane).... then proceeding to drive the wrong way on a 4 lane divided highway.... endangering everyone who was coming around the bend. Not to mention his own life. I was horrified. I was also horrified at the DMV when they renewed an obviously bewildered old man's license. He kept getting lost when they told him to stand against the screen so they could take his picture. (It was right behind him.) And when they did his eye test the clerk and her co-worker chatted while he incorrectly read off the letters. That was after he finally figured out how to read the letters, of course. Oh yes. And I was also horrified..... but, thankfully, not hurt..... after being hit not once; not twice; but THREE times in THREE separate incidents by a senile senior pulling out of their parking spot in their giant tank of a car without looking first as I was walking by. Oh yeah. Good times.

But now in Ontario, they passed a new law last year.... if you are going 50KM / over the speed limit on any road in Ontario, you are automatically on a 30 day suspension, your car gets impounded, and up to a $10,000 fine. I think that's a good thing. There was an article in the Star last summer about how the Americans and other Canadians from diff provinces didn't know about it and cried the blues when their cars were impounded, it didn't matter where you were from
