So funny that you thought to post today. Balvino and I entered the states today March 26th. We are planning to meet a few friends for drinks at a little Latin restaurant in the Lower East Side. The owners Mother was from Nicaragua so she serves Tona...a Nicaraguan beer and a nice latin menu. Time is going so fast! We are very happy but no babies yet :hehe: How is everyone doing?

Did you go to Nicaragua or elsewhere? How long were you gone? We are planning our first trip back to Guatemala June 19-27 - Josue only has 1 week off work but hopefully next year we can go for almost 2 weeks or maybe even go in December. Our first anniversary is this coming Tuesday :) I am making Josue a scrapbook of all the things we did in our first year - wedding pics, honeymoon, buying our house, little trips, him getting his GED, etc. I want to make this a tradition for every year so we can see all the things that we did together each year.

Hope all are doing good....I don't post much on here...look every now and then. Was approved and got my card August 2009, am glad I never paid for the EAD at the time, now been here for a year and can't get work anywhere. Applied for hundreds of jobs...am now wondering if I need to go back to country I came from....haven't been out of work this long before and not used to it that's for sure !

Anyone else on here have problems finding work at all? I must add I don't live in a city so that isn't helping either (but in saying that have only been looking for work in Major city areas).

Oh well back to the job boards !

Sorry just needed to vent somewhere....sure something will turn up !
