Checklist - mailing tomorrow!

Hey all, we are finishing up the Civil Surgeon appointment tomorrow and will be mailing our package in right afterwards. I wanted to post here my checklist and get some feedback if possible.

All forms filled out with Wife's translated first name, and married name.

I-485:

• Table of Contents
• Check for $1010 paypable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
• Copy of Wife's passport (all pages)
• Copy of Wife's I-94
• Copy of Wife's Birth Certificate, translated, and original
• Copy of marriage certificate
• Two passport photos for Wife
• G325a for Wife
• G325a for Me
• I693
• I765
  1. Two passport photos of Wife

I864

1. Copy of 2008 tax return
2. Copy of 2008 W2s

I-130:

• Table of Contents
• Check for $355 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
• Copy of Wife's passport (all pages)
• Copy of my passport (all pages)
• Copy of Wife's Birth Certificate, translated, and original
• One passport photo of Wife
• One passport photo of Me
• G325a for Wife
• G325a for Me
• Evidence of Marriage
  1. Marriage certificate
  2. Copy of Bank Statement (has her maiden name, they would not allow married name without Social Security card)

You don't need your G-325 for the 485.

Hi Terry! I'm sending the same forms you are , however i thought you didn't need to send a copy of Alien's passport or birth certificate translated and the original with form I-130 only USC birth certificate or copy of USC passport (all pages). and you get to send Copy of Wife's passport (all pages) and Copy of Wife's Birth Certificate, translated, and original with I-485 is this correct?

Checklist here, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...page=i130guide2, says to include birth certificate, or passport, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to put both in there. I didn't find any place in the I-130 instructions requiring it though.
