Hi every one,

I just want to let every one know that last week I sent a package to the US Embassy in Turkey (Ankara) and after few days it shows that is in Istanbul, Turkey and is it delvered there!!!!

But it should of delivered in Ankara, Turkey. I called UPS and they and they said it was delivered in Turkey but they don't know where!!!!! last scan was in Istanbul.

I can't belive it that during 5-6 hours drive from Istanbul to Ankara facility my package never got scanned...

I will never ship international package with UPS again. I should of used DHL or even USPS!!

DHL is very good to Europe and Turkey. Usually cheaper also. If Turkey is anything like Ukraine, delivery can be a "sometimes" thing. I have had NO luck using the USPS to send anything INTO Ukraine and suspect Turkey is similar. I never complain about the USPS inside the US, never.

See if Bobby Umit weighs in on this one. I bet he knows the good route to Turkey.

That's customary for overseas shipping to many countries. No doubt it was scanned on arrival in Istanbul, and then taken by a non-UPS carrier to its destination. USPS is unable to verify shipments once they are in the hands of a different postal system. DHL may be able to do better, but it's pretty well closed down its American operations.
