My fiancee have a baby together. Our daughter has both a Filipino passport and a US passport. (I filed the report of birth abroad in Manila and legitimaized our baby even though we are not married) So, my question is this since our daughter is a US a citizen, is there any special way I should handle this? She doesn't need a K2, but will accompany her mother to the US....any one else have a similar situation? would love to hear how it was handled?

Thanks!

The daughter is a US citizen with a US passport, all she needs to do is get on a plane with mom and come. No worries, and no visa needed.

Yeah agreed. But I am concernned that when I file the petition, and put our daughters name on it, when it works through the system, they will assume she is not a US citizen, and try to issue a k2..(which may delay cause confusion etc toher mothers k1) Im probably being paranoid....but I dont want anything to delay the process  Im wondering if I should include a letter of explanation that describes that our daughter is US citizen???

They cannot nor will not TRY to issue a visa to your daughter unless you submit a visa application for her.. which you will NOT. A USC CANNOT be issued a visa... This is not an unusual situation... so yes, stop being paranoid.

US citizens do not need, and cannot receive, a visa to enter thier own country. She has a passport, you are good to go for the daughter.

You still have to list your daughter's name on your petition. It's a child of your fiancee too.
