Yay!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Jawi! That's awesome!! This is a great short cut. Did they email you packet 4 or did you actually get it in the snail mail? You are only 3 days after me! This is going to be a GREAT week (atleast for us!).

Will you be able to go to the interview? I know you are still in a lot of pain.

I won't be at the interview. My doctor will be providing me with an excuse for travel. I will scan it in and email it to him. I just knew that there had to be a better way with the Kingston Embassy. So many other Embassies are much faster than Kingston with scheduling the interview. Now, we have a shortcut to save a month or two or three. LOL

We are waiting for NVC to generate the AOS bill for the 400 dollars payment, then e will send in his passport and police record information. I have everything ready to be mailed and the mone waiting to be paid. I am okay with a July date, because I want to go back to Jamaica for a week, then like you, we wnat to go back home for Christmas.

Oh okay...so you are almost at the finish line too. How is Mrs. Palmer doing?

Mrs. Palmer is probably right along side with me, but she isn't rushing because she doesn't want an interview date until late Sept or eary Oct.

Oh okay...she did say that. She did a great job timing things.

Thanks babes. If I were in your shoes, I would send the email to both email addresses stating that the DS-230 was successfully submitted, and you respectfully request an interview date in June (if that's what you want). Then, you should call the 202# on say Tuesday for a status update. Give the Embassy a week to actually update status to reflect processing of the DS-230. Heck, you can even try the 202# before then...they will definitely let you know if it has been processed in.

When Lawny stated that she requested a specific date and got it...I figured...hey what can it hurt? I should have asked for a June 25th - June 30th date just for budget reasons...but I won't complain.

See you went and did it! I've been doing a good job holding back the water works. You have been with me and us through our entire journey...from the first moment we said hello to each other. Remember we thought he was so MEAN and stand-offish? LOL...

I'm crying...but they are tears of joy and relief...my baby is finally coming home. It feels so surreal...but I know that it is God because I stood still when I wanted to run forward. I walked away when all I wanted to do was clutch tighter. I listened to God before listening to my own heart. Thank you for keeping me walking in faith when my faith was being challenged...thank you for being my sister and best friend. I love you girl.

I remember :rofl: we thought he had a major attitude. You were there when I met my husband and you supported me even when I didn't think I could go on from the stress of doing a ldr. I wish you two nothing but the best - but with the Lord by your side you'll get nothing less. Thank you Jesus for the blessings you rain down upon us every day. I love you too and enjoy this moment. We both know the interview is just a minor technicality. You have enough proof to fill the local yellow pages :lol:
