I just found out that my fiance's 20 year old daughter is 2 months pregnant and her interview is June 10th, can someone please help me and tell me what to do with the new information. someone told me to do nothing, there is nothing to worry about and someone told me that I need to right a letter saying that I will support them and to have the letter noterized. Can someone please help me out with this?

Thanks

Ken

Nothing needs to be done. Unborn child is not counted for support. This is this is the same as if your fiancee were pregnant.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I also found this paragraph on the letter sent to us from the manila embassy, I will paste it below:

If you have one or more children not listed on the visa petition, or a current pregnancy, or a

prior undisclosed marriage even if the marriage has now been terminated, or are currently

afflicted with a contagious or communicable disease of public health significance, you must

be prepared to present a notarized letter from the petitioner stating he/she is aware of the

discrepancies between the facts stated on the petition and and still wishes to proceed with the proposed marriage.

Ok, this is intended for the protection of the petitioner if the FIANCEE is pregnant. For obvious reasons when a couple is separated

You need to know if you are "marrying in" to someone else's child, if your spouse has a disease etc. Likewise they will tell her if your background check shows any criminal convictions even if they do not disqualify you for a visa...even drunk driving. This letter only needs to state you are aware of the condition and have no objection to proceeding with a marriage. Go ahead and include it if you are concerned about it. it is cheap and easy to do, I am not sure it is necessary for a K-2, but why not?
