Sorry if I'm having a dim moment. but its nearly midnight here and still recovering from my "paper paranoia"

of putting the packet 3 goodies together and have submitted them to the London US embassy.

I have been poking around the time line databases which have a ton of information on them but I seem to be missing

what I am looking for.

Does anyone have any ideas what the average time frames are for k1 applicants between the points of

submitting the packet 3 to the London embassy and getting a date for interview?

Again apologies if I'm having a dim moment, could be just a case of " wood for the trees "

Thank you.

Right now, Gary, it looks as if it's varying a good deal. In April the wait time was about three weeks before Packet 4, but there was at least one exception of a couple who waited nearly two months. I haven't been able to find anyone who sent back Packet 3 in late April or May who has received Packet 4 yet. Looks like the London embassy is a bit crowded this summer and we're probably in for a wait of at least 4-6 weeks for Packet 4.

Of course, every time I make a prediction about such things, I'm dead wrong!

That is exactly my train of thought too.

When Danielle submitted the I129f back in December of last year We had an overall time frame of up to 9 months from start to finish.

A friend of ours who went through this process last year had barely managed to get his visa from the embassy with hours to spare before

he had to rush off to board his plane. The poor blighter was so worried about the timescales that he had even me growing a few extra gray hairs. ;o) We vowed to not subject ourselves to such anguish so planned ahead as much as possible.

For the time being I think we are ok as we are looking to get married in early October. So going by best guestimates. I will throw my hat into the ring and say .... late July. Perhaps even Early August.

This is another question about the timelines. I first filled out my information in my timeline, and it would tell me "Based on your NOA1 date, your approximate adjudication will be between Sep 16th and Oct 23rd" ... or something like that...I was just guessing at that point when I would have my NOA1. Now I have it, and it doesn't give me dates! Anyone know of this issue?

April 30th 09: Verification that I-129F was delivered to CSC!

May 12th 09: NOA1!

Hi Gary,

Ours seemed to take FOREVER but a lot of that reason is because we've got a wedding planned (for a year after we sent the paperwork, you'd think that would have given us enough time so we wouldn't have to stress!). We had our senator's staffer send off an email and that got us an interview right quick.

But, you can in the timeline search look at the "detailed" results and that will give you packet 3 sent and packet 4 received date for London if everyone has filled theirs in. It will give you a good idea. From my research, it looked like most of the time it took 2-4 weeks with the rest taking about 6-8 weeks and a couple being lost or incorrectly filed by the visa applicant that took much longer.

Best of luck to you!

Ours and one other I know about sent in packet 3 in the last week in April. We got our packet 4 last week (2.5 weeks later) and they got theirs this week (3.5 weeks later) Both of our interviews were 3 weeks after packet 4 was received.

Come on down to the UK forum, we talk about this stuff all the time. :)

Hope things go smoothly for you!

If I understand your question, you are trying to find your adjudication date on the noa1? if that is right, you won't find it there as this is a VJ estimate. I neglected to look if you were a CSC filer which right now apparently the time line function is either not working or suspended? Not sure why.
