i received ap recently but the names are wrong. :( i'm not sure what i should do to get it fixed. the first and last name are correct but my two middle names seem to have been confused somehow.

for example, say my old name was sally anne jane andrews and my new name was sally anne jane matthews, it says sally jane andrews matthews. i have no clue how that happened, i guess when they were typing it up they were confused by me having two middle names...

how would i go about getting this corrected?

thanks. :)

just in case anyone else encounters this problem, i called the call center and explained that my noa1 for advance parole has my name correct but the actual document has my names confused and she said that i would have to resubmit the original forms along with a copy of the notice of action, highlighting my name being correct, and the ap with my incorrect name and if they decide it is their fault (which clearly it is) then i will not have to pay for it to be processed. what a load of bull$hit. :(

We were told the same thing because they forgot to include the last letter of my husbands middle name. We made an Infopass, but that was useless and they just told us it would be alright to go ahead and use it as long as the A# and everything else was correct. He recently used his AP and had no problems. With your case, it's a bit different as they screwed up a lot more than one letter.

Sounds like a re submission is your only recourse.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
