My mother will be expecting her visa in her passport soon, I sponsered her as I am now a citizen. When she comes on the plane which form was it you fill out, I really can't remember which it was when I did it. I know its not the green one which is the Visa Waiver as she will have the one time visa in her passport. (I-94W) is it the white form the (I-94)?

If she's coming here on visa, she will need to fill out I-94 (white form).

Also, everyone is required to fill out the Customs Declaration Form 6059B (white with blue print)

Gemma -- is she coming in on an IR5 visa? If so, she does not need either the I-94 (white form) or the I-94W (green form). Immigrant visas (CR1, IR1, IR5, etc) do not require the use of an I-94 at all. You would have filled an I-94 in because it looks from your timeline you entered on a K1, which is a non-immigrant visa; non-immigrant visas like K1s and K3s (amongst others) require an I-94. All she needs to fill in is the customs form, nothing else, if she's coming in on an IR5.

Oh how did the interview go???????? Congrats!!!!

All she need to fill out is the customs form. she does not need a I-94 because she is entering as a LPR (greencard holder).

Apparently they put the visa into your passport I reemmber I had to fill out the i94 white form.

Here interview was OK but she had been suspended they want a signature on a form that was missed at the NVC.

Not sure how long its all gonna take as we have to resend things to the embassy.

After mum didn't get her visa I came back to the states alone, I asked at the POE which forms she should fill out that she was on a immigrant visa and I had sponsered her and she was pending the visa at the london embassy, the officer told me that she will have to fill out a white form I-94 when she enters the united states, I said she will have a visa in her passport to which the officer said, yes but she still has to fill out a I-94

So sorry to hear your mom is having to wait to get her visa, What form was missing? I hope she gets her approval real soon. I think the officer you spoke to was wrong as she will be entering the US as a LPR and LPR dont need a I-94.

I agree.....she doesn't need to fill out the I-94 as she is entering as an immigrant and this is an arrival and departure record, she only needs to fill in the custom declaration form.
