"Current Status: The fingerprint fee has now been received. The case is now pending.

On May 18, 2009, we received the fingerprint fee for this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. The case is now properly filed. We also mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process each kind of case in the order we receive them. This case will be put into process based on the date we received the fingerprint fee. You can use our processing times to estimate when it will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location."

We never heard, that the fee was missing. The check for AOS and the fingerprint fee was send with everything back in December and got cashed like January 2nd. AOS got transfered to CSC early February, touch in March, and now this. Does that mean that we have to wait now at least 6 months until it's my turn to get the Greencard? We didn't do anything wrong!:blink::(

Did you write a separate check for the biometrics fee? You're sure they cashed them all initially? This is new to me, but sounds like maybe someone on USCIS's end missed entering something somewhere. Sounds like it could set you back, bummer! Did you ever get suspicious as to why your case seemed to be taking a while? We filed in January, got approved in April. I'm sorry! (F)

If this is the case, I think they have mixed up your case with another case but since the case was resumed,

don't do anything, just wait. It will be corrected by time, next thing you will see in your mail box is GC.

Since your case was transferred to CSC means that You will get your GC without an interview.

GOOD LUCK !.....

I would not freak out about this. They already transferred your case to California back in February (according to your timeline), AND took your fingerprints. So if they had missed anything they would have not worked on your file. I would consider this a stupid computer message, rather that anything substantial.

And for CSC, it took them around 4 months as well to approve my case after transferral, so in early June you should be able to expect an approval.

Kopf hoch, das sieht alles noch gut aus !

If it was a mix up, why did I get another email then? I have so much going on right, that is not something I was waiting for... I want the wait to be over, and move to the next thing.

But thanks for the replies and words!
