My step-daughter will have her interview in a couple of months. Any ideas of additional evidence to take to the interview for the step-daughter? Her father will have been a resident for one year at the time of the interview. At this point, we don't know if I (the petitioner) or her father (CR-2) can attend the interview. It is very possible she attends with her mother. We will be leaving soon to visit and want to bring along anything appropriate.

Thank you for ANY ideas. :)

I assume that u r the petitioner and US citizen,if so u can attend the interview with the benificiary, but it also depends on consulate policy too, generally they allow USC petitioner .

I think the OP was stating that she didn't know if her and the father would be ABLE to attend the interview...and this is a good question...we will be going through the same in (hopefully) July....

If I am misreading the question and the OP is asking if she can attend the interview, the answer would be yes...i attended my wife's interview with no problem in Lima...GOOD LUCK

Yes, I know that I am able to attend the interview. I was at my husband's and there was no problems.

I don't know if we can return after our 2 month vacation there.

We tried to have the interview fall within the two month period, but USPS Express Mail LOST our papers. We are very disappointed, but trying to plan ahead if we are not there.

So again I ask if anyone has any ideas.
