hi everyone,

we recieved our noa1 march 9 09. when i sent in the application i had -just- started working at a new job (less than 3 weeks at the job when i sent the petition out) and didnt include it on the app since it was all filled out prior to the new job (And tbh i wasnt sure i was even going to stay at it). is this going to be a snag or will i just update the info when we do the affidavit of support? i'm still going to need a co-sponsor regardless because the job is very part time lol. also, i told fh to not fly out for my graduation from college last week in fear that they would deny him entry because we have the k1 in process but im absolutely dying not seeing him (its been about 5 months since returned back to the UK). should he just come out here for a few weeks? he has been working for his fathers landscaping buisness since he returned back so he can get a letter from his dad saying that he expects him here and he has other things that he has planned like a driving license test etc. i just miss him terribly. advice?

Have a k1 currently being processed doesn't prevent a person from visiting the US. He can still come and visit you, he should bring proof of ties to home with him. I'm not sure how seriously a letter from his father would be taken I'd have back up documents prepared just in case they don't accept that, also bringing a copy your noa1 will help.

The i129f asks you to list all jobs that you've held in the last 5 years, I have no idea how that is going to affect your application in essence you lied. If you make it to the afiidavit of support without any questions being asked about your current job then yes definatly include it on your affidavit of support.

lol oh god i didnt LIE. I hadn't even gotten a paycheck nor was all my paperwork processed for the job. it was a second job anyways and i put my primary current job that i had been at for 4 years on there and the date that it said the form was completed was PRIOR to me even starting the job.

i swear some people can be so dramatic.

and to the poster that informed me that it will not be a snag, thank you

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be 'dramatic' in your orginial post you said you had been at your job for 3 weeks when you submitted your petition. Whether or not you thought you were going to keep that job doesnt change the fact that you were in fact employed by someone other than what you listed on your petition.

My only reason for replying to your post was to assure about your fiances ability to visit you while your petition is processing.

Your welcome!
