I entered the US in 1999 with a tourist visa, I overstayed since but my father has become a US citizen in the last six months, could you please help me with indicating the documents that I need to file?

also my children and my husband who came with me will be beneficiaries, will I have to file an application for each?

Are you hoping to get a green card? All children are 10 year overstays also?

I would recommend a lawyer to help you with your case.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I think that your situation is going to be complicated. And take multiple steps over a long period of time.

Your father can petition for you. The overstay will have to be addressed. No guarantee that it will be forgiven. Likely there will be a significant wait for your visa. Then after you would become a LPR (lawful permanent resident) you can then petition for your immediate family.

Bobby's advice is very good: consult an experienced immmigration attorney.
