where to stay for montreal interview

hey guys, I have my CR/IR visa interview in Montreal, Canada on May 21,2009. Could you please tell me some place near the consulate which is not very expensive as well. Thanx.

We stayed at the Hyatt (less than 5 minutes from Consulate) for about $70... got the room on Hotwire.

Yep, hotwire is excellent for booking rooms in Canada, I used that site last year for a room in Toronto, excellent hotel, excellent price.

Alot of people have stayed at La Tour Centreville because it is literally right across from the Consulate. The staff there are very friendly...the rooms are nothing special, but the price is reasonable.

We stayed at the Hilton in the Bonaventure Centre. It was not the cheapest but well worth it... It was about 10-15 minute walk from the consulate.

I stayed at La Tour Centreville for the reason that it is so close to the US embassy and like Misty said, a lot of people having there interviews stays here too..It is ok if your just looking for place to sleep.I like the mini kitchen...

I stayed at the Youth Hostel. It was only $30 I think, and about a 25 - 30 minute walk to the consulate.

We're staying at the Delta Montreal on President Kennedy Ave. It's $53.00 a night. My interview is only May 19th!

I stayed at the hyatt as well, I loved their breakfast buffet it was AMAZING!
