hi,

do we need to send state tax return along with other supporting docume am sending fed tax return but not sure about state tax return.

Thanks

No requirement for such but ANYTHING showing joint participation is a plus. We submitted evidence of joint filed state taxes as evidence also. I guess no need if you submitted federal but I always go by : More ammo the better!

hello

my husband and I sent a copy of W-2 and then USCIS sent us a letter saying that we had to send the IRS (Forms 8879, and 1040A) they are 3 pages, so in total we sent 4 pages. Dont miss any of the copy of your whole information from taxes. Also they asked in that letter for a letter from the company where my husby works which has to say Date of employment, nature of job, wages or salary earned, number of hours for week worked.

and we also had to send pay stubs of pay for the previous 6 months.

We sent that and was enough because after they got those they sent us the interview appoiment.

I hope this information help you!

Ali

You are talking about adjusting status NOT removing conditions. Different requirements!

Most of the people here sent Federal and state tax returns and I agree with the others, the more evidence you can provide the better.Transcripts from the IRS is really more acceptable and less papers too.Good luck on filing.
