Question about interview and I864

Okay so here's the deal. My husband's interview is coming up on May 19th in Abu Dhabi (wish us luck!!!). I know we have to take evidence of financial support, and it says specifically that those that sent in an extension letter to the NVC must provide a copy of the tax return. But the documents we had to send in to the NVC only consisted of '05, '06, and '07 tax years since it was before the April 15th deadline for '08 taxes, so everything was sent in--no extension letter sent then. My father is co-sponsoring my husband, and I'm pretty sure he filed for and extension for 2008 taxes. I personally have filed my 2008 tax return and can provide copies of both my W-2's and my return, but my question is, does my dad have to file his taxes before our interview date? Or is it alright for me to bring his tax extension and his W-2's for 2008, since we didn't send a letter previously? I don't want to risk being rejected for something so small. If anyone has any sort of experience with all this, please help me out. Thanks!!

Certainly bring the extension letter to the interview. They will like to see that for sure. The W-2's are also good but perhaps some recent pay stubs to show that he is still employed and making a salary.
