Most use the PDF forms, fill them out on the computer, print them, and sign using a ball point pen. (Dark Blue or Blue/Black ink).

If your hand writing is very readable, then perhaps you will be fine.

i tried to fill form I-130 online but when i printed it out the name of the employer for the spouse didnt come complete, because its very lengthy.so i decided to fill all the forms by hand.my handwritting is really good.So is it fine that i used just black pen instead of black ink pen.

 isn't it the same?

For those that have filled out the forms on PDF in your computers, what did you do if the whole name did not fit? did you just fill that part by hand?

my handwriting is questionable...I fill out everything on the computer and printed it out.

what you did when the name didnt fit in the column, because i filled all the forms because the names if the employers are too long to fit in the column when i filled it online.while filling it online it comes in the column ,but once you print it out it doesnt come in that way.what you did in such situation

So just complete the form on your computer except that one field, which you can fill in by hand after you've printed it.

+1 vote for filling them out on computer, btw. Anything you can do to make the adjudicator's life a little easier has got to be a Really Good Idea...

what i have done with my forms is that if a field isnt large enough. use a separate sheet of paper. make sure it has the number of the question your filling in and put the relevant information on that.

Make it blindingly clear what your attatched sheet is for, for the relevant part of your form and attach it to your complete ( completed form ) I would hate to have paperwork bounce because of a field on the PDF not being large enough or being filled in exactly as they wanted.
