Historical precedent of Jimmy Carter:

  • won in 1976 due to unpopular, unelected (appointed as VP by Nixon, then succeded him after Nixon's post-Watergate resignation) POTUS Jerry Ford--and that, narrowly
  • lack of competence showed even by mid-term (1978)
  • Nov 1979-Apr 1980, Iran handed him his butt (with hostage crisis, and Carter's half-baked rescue attempt)

Similarity of 0bama:

  • elected due to unpopularity of previous POTUS (Jorge Bush Jr) and useless-candidate opponent (McCain)
  • lack of competence revealed already (not even 120 days) by:
    • February trip to Ottawa
    • February announcement by Gates (at Krakow) that 0bama would be willing to accept "Swat-style truce" (abject surrender, no way to disguise) with Taliban (which Jorge Bush did remove from power, where Taliban in Swat weren't shakable by Pakistan government) on Afghanistan
    • bowing to Saudi degenerate monarch Abdullah
    • takeover of GM

the rasmussen poll was an okay part ... and the fox poll wasn't? :blink:

No neither were, seeing the Fox News poll mentioned with the Rasmussen poll confirmed for me not to read on. It's all "Fair and Balanced" you know.
