I know when I was a teen the biggest danger was peer pressure trying to fit into a group. My friends drank and smoke, but mom had put the fear of god into me and made me go to a Baptist church all the time, which was another danger , the danger of narrow mindedness. I ran around with other kids whose parents made them go to church so we had our own clique. Most of us didn't want to be at church but we enjoyed the social aspect and goofed around alot during services up in the balcony.

It's sad that kids are left alone alot , especially 12+ since most childcare programs stop providing care for kids after age 12. I mentor a 12 year old, her mom leaves her alone half the day and then I stay with her the last four hours. She's really into stuff, like high class clothes, purses, ect... of course it's her peer group and clique she runs around with.

7-3-06 GREEN CARD ARRIVES IN MAIL!!!! Done for two years!!!!!!

I am here to help, even if it's just to offer my shoulder to cry or vent on... We are all in this together.!

My answers are based on personal experience, not fact.

We are on this rollercoaster ride together holding on for dear life.

Other. The biggest danger to kids is bad parents!

or no father

yes that is true but can be a mother also.. the mother could be strung out on crack or something or never home.

they need to have both parents..have a stable and healthy home style.

After reading the thread on HFCS, I have to say it is food!

I just returned from shopping as I was determined to eat healthier and was STUNNED that EVERY loaf of bread contained this highly concentrated sweetener!

The corn syrup mafia is out to get us!:ph34r::bonk::dead::ph34r::whistle:

It seems even if you TRY to buy healthy you have your work cut out for you!
