So, myself (UKC, UK Passport holder, GC holder) and my wife (USC, US Passport holder) (Both of us resident in USA) have booked a trip to England and we are travelling in a few weeks

As this is the first time that I will have left the US with my UK Passport and Green Card, and the first time that my wife will have travelled outside the US, I have the following questions:

1. Am I correct in thinking that my UK Passport and Green Card is all that I need to gain re-entry to the USA? Do I need to carry any other documentation?

2. Is there any ESTA-type thing that either of us have to do prior to travelling?

Thanks.

2. Is there any ESTA-type thing that either of us have to do prior to travelling? Nope.

Thanks.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

ESTA is for visa waiver people. You won't be entering US on VWP. You are entering US as a permanent resident (GC holder). Wife is entering as a USC.

I think the OP was perhaps asking if there was an "ESTA-type thing" they had to fill out for entering the UK.
