Hi EveryONE,

Just want to ask if there will be a problem if my Fiance is self employed?

- Like if he applied for K1, is there any problem that he will going encounter?

- Will he be avail to get me here in the Philippines and live with him in United State?

- What could be the chances? Would it be 60% to 100% that our papers will be

approve or it will be like 50-50% basis...?

Is anyone here has the same situation as I do?

- To those who have the same experienced here please

send me your ideas and experience regarding this matter...

And please let me know whats the best thing to do...

Your concern and kind help will be highly appreciated...

Thank you so much in advance!!!

As long as his taxes show that he makes enough money (125% of the poverty guidelines for the household), then that will not be an issue in getting you the visa.

I am self employed, and we had no problem. Make sure when he sends you the I-134 for your interview, that he includes the last three years worth of Federal Income Tax returns, and that he meets the threshold of 125% of the poverty income guidelines for all three years.
