Hello

I have been waiting for my Removing conditions application for 13 months now, I had contacted the office of my senator, someone from her office called today saying she checked with them and they said my application is in the final stage of review,

What does that mean? does anyone know what the final stage of review is?

Thanks

mbmw, WHat is your timeline? i assume you are @ VSC, have you tried calling yourself? I think it means its on someones desk for it to be decisioned. How long after contacting your congressman did you hear from them? I'm almost on the sam boat as you, May 28th will be 12 months for me, my online status still says ''received and pending''

I personally think that saying it is on someone desk is VSC's way of saying we have no idea. I hope I am wrong because I was told the same thing by my congresswoman's office. I honestly think for those of us over a year there is something MAJORLY wrong at VSC. Yet there are some getting approved in less than 10 months at the same center. :protest:

Happened to us. Had the GC within a month.

We haven't applied for citizenship yet. My husband hasn't made the decision if he wants to become a citizen yet vs. a green card holder. I would hate to think we wasted $600 for his removal of conditions to just apply for his citizenship.
