...####### is a green job?

There are plenty of green jobs in Texas. All those windmills, every job in support of them is what's called a 'green job'.

I think Texas might be able to trade a few barrels for some food. Especially if oil was goin fer 700 a barrel.

Knowing how DC operates, you're probably looking at a 50-year-long trade embargo :)

No no, I would bring the .45 to protect us when the failed socialist wannbe's try to invade. when their ideas of granduer fails.

But why wouldn't a country founded on the principles of rugged individualism allow people to bring guns into their consulates?

If it was allowed he11 i be packin.

If it was your country and you ran the consulate, would you allow it? I'd think you should, what better way to advertise to the people of the United States how much better Texas is?

California and Mexico will starve Texas. No more feed grain from the Midwest. Mexico and Louisiana have already overfished the Gulf. Good luck getting past your perennial drought in one half the state, and floods in the other half. Who is going to work the farms and ranches when you boot the Mexs? You can't eat oil.

Would that happen before or after the green jobs have been created? By the way, ####### is a green job? I think Texas might be able to trade a few barrels for some food. Especially if oil was goin fer 700 a barrel.

Mexico has got plenty of oil in production. California still has plenty in proven reserves they haven't decided to drill yet (damn hippies!).

It's called strategy, or strategery in Texan. Why spend your oil when those nutcases, Tex and Achmed, are more than willing to use theirs?

 I shouldn't pick on Texas. My dad is probably rolling in his grave. Grampa was forced to move his brood to Bakersfield after an incident in Ranger, Texas made us the black sheep of the family sometime in the first part of the twentieth century.

What is ChowKing?

I think Texas should give me dual citizenship since I was born there and they're proud to be Americans. That way it doesn't mess up my immigration and they and the other 21 states who are declaring sovereignty can pretend they're part of the North American Free Trade Alliance like the European Union, ect. Not saying I like it or that I care either way. I just care about being with hubby.

That still sounds like either dog food or a rapper.

By the way... you guys forgot one important piece of info: Texas is the only state that has its own power grid. The rest of the U.S. could lose power, but Texas would still have it. Of course, the reverse is true, too.

Interesting. Sounds to me like they've been preparing for this for a while.
