Hi, my husband and I are December K-1 AOS filers and I just found this forum. We filed the AOS packet on 12/30/08, and had Biometrics on 1/29/09, and 1 month ago received notice that our case had been transferred to the CSC. We have rec'd nothing re an interview, but I understand that cases transferred to the CSC are processed without them... is that correct?

My main concern is, we have not rec'd his AP or EAD. Nor have we rec'd an RFE. My husband is desperate to work, and in August we are planning to go back to Cuba with our new baby. It seems like other December filers got their APs and EADs weeks to months ago.

Anyone have any advice for me? THANKS.

You have both good & bad news. Good news is your case transferred to CSC, it means

NO INTERVIEW, Bad news is that it usually takes more time to get GC without interview

than the interview done at the local office. I think you will be receiving EAD or AP very soon.

Also you can call the NBC (Missouri) to find out about the EAD and/or AP application.

I had read on posts from VJ members that they contacted their local congressional representative to help push things along. Maybe it's worth a shot. Goodluck....Edwin&Mary
