I have a few questions regarding these forms. I have googled it but did not find what I was looking for. I feel like I do know the correct answers however, I want to be certain to get this right the first time.

If you can help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Some background info. I am an Australian citizen marrying a USC on the 23rd of this month. I am currently on a B2 visa which will expire on May 17th 2009.

On ALL of the forms when it asks for my family name I will now be putting my married name and only be putting my maiden name if it is specifically asked for. Is this correct?

Also on ALL of the forms am I supposed to be putting my address as my Australian address or do I put the address at which I will be residing at in America. I am unsure of this as I am not yet a legal resident of America I am only a visa and therefore should not have an American address?

When I am asked for my residence in the past 5 years do I include the current address I have been living at since arrving on my B2 visa?

My employment for the last 5 years. I don't have exact dates and all of the paperwork to find out is back in Australia. Do I have to be EXACT with this or can I guess and try to be as close as possible? Will they care if the dates are not exactly correct?

I864

Part 3 Question 8 asks my husband, if he is sponsoring the prinicipal immigrant (me) and then gives two options, YES or NO (Applicable only in cases with two joint sponsors) his mother is filing an I 864A as she is part of the same household as my husband. does he choose the YES or NO option?

I-485

Which application type would I be considered as? Do I choose option a (an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number that has already been approved) OR h (other basis)

I am really sorry if these questions sound silly or are over asked but I didn't find any answers and I just want to get it all right.

Thanks

Yes, your legal name.

Your legal address would be still in Australia

When I am asked for my residence in the past 5 years do I include the current address I have been living at since arrving on my B2 visa?

Yes

My employment for the last 5 years. I don't have exact dates and all of the paperwork to find out is back in Australia. Do I have to be EXACT with this or can I guess and try to be as close as possible? Will they care if the dates are not exactly correct?

As long as there are no gaps in the timeline.

"No"

A

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
